Joanie shoes: Montpellier review!

Hello pals! Today I want to tell you about some amazing new footwear that’s just launched – I’m talking about the Joanie shoes: Montpellier review!

if you don’t know Joanie, they are a Manchester based fashion brand who have achieved b corp status and create beautiful vintage and retro inspired pieces. They have collaborated with Laura Ashley, the natural history museum, horrockes, and more! They are pretty amazing!

along side being known for their cute vintage designs, they also are loved for their dresses with pockets and their eco viscose or cotton dresses. They also line a lot of their dresses – which as we all know, seems to be a rarity these days! Seriously! Why aren’t dresses lined anymore?!!

anyway! Joanie have created a shoe line and I have to say, they nailed it! There’s cute t-bar shoes, brogues, ankle strap shoes andddddd their already iconic Joanie Montpellier sandal! These come in blue, green, pink and gold metallic as well as black suede. They have a small platform, a chunky heal and they are pretty much the perfect 70s inspired shoes which could also look quite 80s or 90s if styled in the right way! Hell, you could even wear them with a 1920s or 1950s dress too! They are so versatile!!!

the chunky heel and the slight platform means they are comfortable to walk in and the ankle strap gives good support. The only problem is… what colour should you go for! I can honestly see people collecting the full range because they are that good!!!

Which colour is the best?!

Pink – perfect for Barbie themed outfits and cute white or pink summer dresses

blue – perfect for wearing with nautical themed dresses this summer

green – so disco! Perfect for nights out! And Christmas parties!

black – a little more formal, but with a vintage twist! Also would look great with the bus stop collection!

gold – perfect for weddings… either as the guest or the bride!!

These shoes come in sizes Uk 3 to 9. Enjoy!
