Some foods are difficult to digest and can, therefore, put a strain on the stomach. It is best to avoid these or only eat them in rare cases:

  • Alcohol, coffee, and black tea can quickly irritate the stomach. With coffee, however, some varieties have less acidity. 
  • You should reduce sugar drastically. But a diet that is easy on the stomach does not have to do without sweets completely. If you make your sweets or bake cakes, you can influence the sugar content yourself.
