CORSAIR Harpoon RGB Wireless Review

Indeed, Corsair increasingly weighs in on player rats. This time we’re looking at a model that’s more accessible than the Dark Core series. It is part of Corsair’s Harpoon series, which is very popular with mid-range gamers.

A Good Ergonomic Design

It stands out at first glance, with both one-zone RGB lighting and wireless connectivity support. The product is relatively small, but surprisingly, it promises to be comfortable to use even if your hand is large.

It weighs relatively as low as a wireless product (99 grams). The Corsair again used a high-quality, rough exterior on the Harpoon RGB Wireless.

The coating does not stick to your hand after lengthy uses. It is supported by a rough rubber coating on the sides and completes the overall ergonomics.

Adjustable DPI and Programmable Keys

The product has six programmable keys and a DPI key just behind the mouse wheel, which gives a complete feel. The mouse, which can be adjusted from 100 to 10,000 dpi with Corsair’s iCue software, uses Pixart’s PMW3325 sensor.

This sensor, which we can call the entry-level, has a speed of 100 IPS and an acceleration of 20G. The critical point here is that according to Pixart’s factory values, the native support of this sensor is up to 5,000 dpi.

Even if this is software-supported, we suggest you keep in mind that the primary purpose of Corsair’s use of this sensor is low power consumption, so it’s worth keeping expectations in line.

Bluetooth and Battery

The product has wireless modes powered by wired and Corsair Slipstream technology and Bluetooth connectivity.

It enables up to 45 hours of battery life with RGB and 60 hours without RGB. In 2.4 GHz Wireless mode, these times are 30-45 hours. It’s more than enough. Harpoon Wireless comes from another feature that we’re not used to in a player mouse.
